WHY CHOOSE EMS?
We are a fully accredited and CMC registered mediation provider
The Civil Mediation Council is the largest registering organisation for civil and commercial mediation in England and Wales and many of the country’s top mediators are CMC members. All EMS mediators are at least members of the CMC, and some Fellows.
In line with the CMC (Civil Mediation Council) ethos, EMS believe that the whole of society will benefit from the greater use of civil and commercial mediation. EMS are proud to be affiliated with the CMC as a registered mediation provider.
The CMC is a membership organisation, providing the public with a list of qualified civil and commercial mediators. All EMS panel members are CMC registered meaning that they will have undertaken an approved accredited training programme, follow a professional code of conduct and are committed to continued professional development on an annual basis. All EMS mediators will also have a complaints process in place and have professional indemnity insurance.
WORKING TOGETHER
Why should you mediate?
01
To save money
Mediation is a cost effective and proportionate method of resolving your disputes. The financial benefits of mediation far outway the costs of litigation.
02
Be outcome focussed
Settlement rates are high (nearly 90%) The parties have full control over any settlement agreement and are more likely to preserve their relationship long term.
03
To save time
Avoid the delay of litigation/grievance procedures and save time. We can arrange a mediation very quickly and complete a mediation session within a day, avoiding court schedules and lists.
04
To receive friendly support
Our friendly support team is here to make sure everything runs smoothly, so you can get on with other things. Refer your dispute to us and we'll efficiently manage it every step of the process.
